Complementary tools · The Dojo

The Dojo. Psychological training for the trader.

Short scenarios that expose your decision reflexes to the real crossroads of trading, without putting a single euro at stake. One pillar a day. One scenario per pillar. That is all.

Why a Dojo

You do not become more lucid by trading more. You become so by exposing yourself to more crossroads.

Real trading sessions hold few pure decision moments. A lot of waiting, and a handful of critical instants buried inside it. The Dojo gives you access to those critical moments in condensed form, with no real risk, in a format that exercises what real practice erodes.

This is classic behavioral learning. You learn better when you are exposed several times to the same category of situation, in varied contexts, than by waiting for life to serve it to you by chance.

One scenario a day. One pillar a day. No more. The Dojo is cultivated like a discipline, not like a game. Regularity does the work, not intensity.

Three steps. Always the same ones.

01 · Choose the pillar

Six pillars, six guardians.

Each pillar carries a poetic name that reveals what it guards. The Guardian of the Plan, The Weight of Exposure, The Refusal of Hope, The Trader's Horizon, Fidelity to the System, The Silent Continuity. You pick the one you want to exercise today, among the six pillars.

Next to each pillar, its fragility score (from 0 to 100) and its state (stable, strained, wavering). The higher the score, the more the pillar calls for your attention. The Dojo suggests the most fragile one, but never forces you to choose it.

The Guardian of the Plan

Pillar chosen, the scenario opens.

02 · The scenario

One situation. Three choices.

A short trader fiction, designed to activate the chosen pillar. You read. You choose A, B or C. On the surface, none of the three options is marked as « right » or « wrong ». But each choice reveals a different relationship to the pillar.

The scenario carries a name (The Reflex Click, The Loss That Weighs, The Methodical Slip...). It describes a situation you recognize. That familiarity is what makes the training useful : you do not answer in theory, you answer from what you would probably do.

Situation
You spot a strong signal on your screen, an opportunity looks clear. Without thinking, you place an order. A few seconds later, a piece of new information makes you doubt. You catch yourself justifying your initial decision as perfectly mastered, even though you acted before assessing the situation.
Your choice
  • A Acknowledge the order was impulsive, and observe the consequences
  • B Reinforce the belief that the order was deliberate, to stay confident
  • C Ignore the doubt, keep acting fast without questioning it

Choice made, Hyvirtus reads.

03 · The verdict

The verdict, then the lesson.

After your choice, Hyvirtus returns four fixed blocks, always in the same order. The pillar verdict (held, under tension, wavering). The behavioral reading (what your choice reveals). The short lesson (eight structured lines, from the reminder to the cue). The anchor phrase to keep.

Hyvirtus does not judge you. It reads you. The tone is sober, lucid, never prescriptive. You read, you absorb what resonates, you leave the rest.

Verdict

You accept the impulsiveness and observe without judging yourself, strengthening your lucidity.

Pillar held. You can keep this pace without forcing it.

Fragility 5/100

One pillar a day. Come back tomorrow to start this pillar again.

Behavioral reading

Acknowledging an impulsive act reveals an inner honesty that soothes doubt. This posture opens the way to a better understanding of your reactions and prevents the escalation of careless decisions. Observing without justification lets you learn and adjust your inner discipline with more awareness.

Short lesson

Inner discipline regulates impulsive action and keeps the mind clear. Impulsiveness activates the limbic system, favoring fast reactions without analysis. Acknowledging impulsiveness reveals self-awareness and an openness to learning. Repeatedly ignoring doubt can reinforce biases and weaken decision-making. Observing your impulses without judgment lets you integrate the experience and adjust your behavior. Mental cue : « I see what is happening without letting it carry me away. » Short rule : a moment of observation before acting. Anchor phrase : I stay in command of my choices, even under pressure.

Anchor phrase

I stay in command of my choices, even under pressure.

Three steps. And behind them, a measure that sharpens.

Fragility measure

One fragility per pillar. 80 % Dojo Live, 20 % Dojo training.

The Dojo dashboard shows a fragility score per pillar (from 0 to 100) with a state (stable, strained, wavering). That score points you toward the pillar to train first, but never forces you to choose it.

The calculation is fixed and non-negotiable. Eighty percent of the data comes from your real sessions, read by Dojo Live. Twenty percent comes from your Dojo training. The ratio says the essential : real practice carries the measure, training prepares it.

No other source enters the calculation. Not the Journal, not the Analyses, not the Ritual, not the Weekly Audit shown in the dashboard. The Dojo is a bounded ground, and so is its measure.

Before going on, one last clarity.

What it is not

Four misunderstandings to clear up.

From a distance, the Dojo resembles several formats it is not. To avoid the confusion.
